The Michiana was originally built was in the late 1800s as a large single family home. Years ago it was converted into four separate luxury beach vacation apartment rentals with two one bedroom and two two bedroom units. Apartment #4 has two spacious bedrooms with one queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has a closet, a dresser and a chair. The living room has comfortable seating as well as a table and chairs for dining or a game of cards. Apartment #4 has recently had both mechanical and cosmetic updates while still retaining some of the original historic details and finishes. The apartment has a very functional floor plan (see pictures) that can comfortably accommodate a family of four or two adult couples.

Enjoyed our stay November 4-6, 2016! Have enjoyed our annual ladies weekend for almost 30 years! This is the first time we stayed in town. The apartment was so clean, furnished with everything you would need for a weekend or weeklong stay & walking distance to everything! Will be planning another stay for sure!

We had such a wonderful stay! It was more space than we needed, as it was just the two of us, but we were so comfortable in our little home away from home. Super cosy living spaces and fully equipped kitchen. We cooked breakfasts in, and hit the town during the day. Next time we will bring friends!

Some friends and I stayed at the Michiana #4 apartment for South Haven’s annual Ice Breakers event a few weeks ago. The apartment is in the perfect location, a two minute walk from downtown. The apartment is the perfect place for a weekend getaway and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Would definitely recommend!!!

We have stayed in 2 different units on this property and both were simply delightful!! The area is perfect and watching the sunset from St. Basil Catholic Church was amazing as well. We absolutely have fallen in love with South Haven, Michigan and also spent a couple days driving to Holland and Saugatuck which both were so close. The apartments were very very comfy and completely furnished with everything we needed. The sun coming in the windows in the a.m. was beautiful. Michael was so flexible with us as our plans changed and never once did he make us feel like a problem. For my husband,Troy and I we know finding this place is an answer to prayer for that much needed time away to make memories together.
